Very interesting and amusing post, but much depends on fishing and the rivers themselves, which is very different from one another and aquatic insects that are represented in these rivers. Since the behavior of insects depends on our approach to fishing.

Ours fishermans, some of them, truly dont like fishing with more than one fly, and they do not consider fly fishing if some use 2 or 3 flies! Is this a case in your country?

Truly, I dissent with them!

Each country brings its laws and regulations on fishing. There should be asked and the answer to your question. Fishing on more than one fly is often a questionable issue. Here is the first word on the traditional and modern fishing. Modern approach to fishing rejects any possibility of using more flies in the system. Even in America are divided opinions about a series of multiple flies on the system. You must comply with rules that make fishing associations, because only then we are correct with one or more flies on the system.

In my country is not forbiden to use more flies than one! So, fisherman who fish with 2 or 3 flies is correct fly fisherman!

It was my great pleasure to read the post you wrote at this web. Site. Your text and sincere explanations about different ways of fly fishing with wet flies and the flies you made and posted are amazing and beyond any expectations. This is just my way to say Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Wet flies you posted reminded me at early days of my beginning when I was fishing with my father who at that time, had made flies very similar to yours. It was year of 1958 when I went as 12year old kid to river Pliva in Bosnia, same river that was visited by great Englishman, mr. G.E.M.Skues - the father of nymphs- and wet fly fishing.

I hope this is not end of our fly fishermen brotherhood and I expect more of your great experience to share with us.

New countries developed from former Yugoslavia are full of beautiful rivers and to visit any of rivers you'd find excellent fishing buddies who are willing to show, not just you, but any fisherman, all their love and care about nature, rivers, fishes and well manners. I know they will show all their knowledge about rivers, flies, trout and grayling, without hiding anything they know about fly fishing.

This is the beginning of great friendship.

I have asked everyone to just call me Ray (although I understand it is polite to use Mr when you address someone). So until you just write Ray it will have to be Mr Mersad Laughing

There is one thing I have learned in my life, where ever you go in the world - find another fly fisher and you find a friend. It is good.

Before I joined this forum I did not know that G.E.M.Skues had fished rivers in your region. Do you have more details of his visit?

I will keep posting.
