I caught it on one reservoar but I believe that is river fly

John Goddard reports that the Genus Siphlonurus are usually found in large slower flowing rivers and big lakes; hatches are usually sparse from
May to September

The way to identify the genus Siphlonurus is to examine the hind leg (or tarsus) - it should have four free segments (plus the 2 claws),
a fifth segment can be seen fused into the tibia as shown in the following.

Evo jedna sa Zete danas,a da li je ovo Zetttana,to ne znamo još

Nema ničeg sličnog ovom stvorenju, Madjoni. Potpuno je sigurno da je ovo jednodnevka iz roda Ephemera, ali nije vulgata, danica itd,
već jedna jedina koja je crvenkasta - zettana.

Na slikama sa jezera Liverovići je Siphlonurus, verovatno vrsta lacustris. Mr. Ray je brzo i tačno prepoznao rod, a verovatno i vrstu.

But found the following on the internet which is a similar description to Madjoni's last photograph.

"Ephemera zettana KIMMINS, 1937 was collected in North-eastern Italy. New descriptions of male and female adult stage are reported.
This species is easily distinguishable - at the adult stage - from the congeneric species for the typical marking of abdominal tergites -
that are often strongly coloured - and for their scarlet-red tint. As regard the nymphal stages, a certain identification is still not possible.
E. zettana is quite common in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and it prefers slow flowing waters with restricted thermal range."

Nema ničeg sličnog ovom stvorenju, Madjoni. Potpuno je sigurno da je ovo jednodnevka iz roda Ephemera, ali nije vulgata, danica itd,
već jedna jedina koja je crvenkasta - zettana.

hehehe...ja kažem da ne znamo....ima još dva padavca da uhvatim ovih dana pa ćemo viđeti koji je zettana :king:

Madjoni, slikaj što češće. Krupne jednodnevke i ostali vodeni insekti Jadranskog sliva su nam izuzetno zanimljivi.

Imam to u planu, ali ove godine mi je baza Šavnik....moraću malo put juga

As MM has said get out with your camera more often - we want to see all the insects from your rivers.
