Good to hear from you.

The pattern with the CDC distributed hack and Partridge in front is my favorite during a hatch of March Brown Duns, I've used it for a number of years (so have some of my friends) and it has caught a lot of fish.

Floats like a cork with just a tiny smear of CDC oil (I'm using some manufactured by Marc Petijean).

The hack to get the correct size, after tying in, I pinch all the fibers forward in a bunch over the eye and use a pair of fine tweezers to Pluck them.

Blame this 'Welsh archer' ...he put some realy good paterns here and gave me a lot of trouble trying to do some of mine

p.s.we from Montenegro was not so famous with bows like finest Welsh archers (best ever archers known in Europe ) but our speciality was close combat, style with two short swords called yataghan

Thanks mate....yes...duck quill dyed with picric...and I got my first this season trout on that imitation on right with partridge
